How It's Made: Acid Cherry Blossom Jewellery

The collection began, as all Tatty Devine collections do, in our Creative Director Harriet's sketchbook. Harriet puts her pen to paper and creates the first outline of a future piece of jewellery. Inspired by Japanese cherry blossom festivals, she designed a series of offbeat blooms shot through with a bright burst of fluorescent pink:

Each flower and its stamen is lasercut from Tyvek, a material that looks like paper but is super strong, combining the properties of paper and cloth. The Tyvek is specially printed with a fluoro spraypaint pattern, and the flowers are topped with iridescent Swarovski Elements beads:
